ECN and JRC, Petten, The Netherlands

Energy research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN) and Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission have the honor to announce a unique conference on the sustainability issues of biomass to be held on 29 September to 1 October 2010 in Petten, The Netherlands.

Biomass and sustainability is a broad topic that needs careful consideration in order to use biomass as a source for energy, transportation fuels or chemicals in a sustainable society.

The conference will focus on general aspects of the topic within the European policy context.
